We offer accredited First Aid training in line with current best practice. The added value is the practical insight you will receive as our trainers have years of pre hospital medical experience.
Safe Kids offers CPR and First Aid Courses in the Western Cape. The correct management of the first few minutes of a medical emergency are critical to a good outcome and it is our aim to help you react resolutely.
CPR
We supply an infant mannequin to each participant, ensuring plenty of practice time.
The CPR skills are then also practiced on child and adult dolls. The CPR module is in line with current best practice and up to date protocols in accordance with the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa.
Burns
Following a burn, proper emergency first aid care can ensure a positive outcome.
We will teach you how to manage various burns, as well as important do’s and don’ts when it comes to treating a burn wound.
Drowning
You will learn how to confidently perform CPR on a drowned victim, as well as how to recognize “Secondary Drowning.”
Choking
Every parents fear when introducing finger foods and solids!
We will teach you how to recognize mild and severe airway obstructions, and how to remove an obstruction.
Allergic Reactions
We teach you how to recognize a mild or severe Allergic Reaction, and how to treat them accordingly.
Fevers
Confusing and scary for first time parents!
We teach you what is normal, how to manage a fever, and when to take the child to the doctor.
Class sizes vary between 4 and 15 participants. Our courses are practical and hands-on, you will leave feeling confident to deal with any emergency!
CONFIDENCE FOR LIFE'S LITTLE EMERGENCIES
We insure our house and our car. Learning first aid is how we can insure our child’s safety in the event of an accident.

This course is suitable for members of the public who would like to learn basic life saving skills. Including CPR and how to remove an airway obstruction.

This course is aimed primarily at those who are expected to provide medical care in the workplace.
