Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Restoring Function and Mobility

You will manage the full scope of upper extremity rehabilitation, focusing on customized and evidence-based care:

• Comprehensive Evaluation: Conduct thorough and complex evaluations of all upper extremity conditions, from the shoulder to the fingertips.
• Custom Treatment: Design and implement custom, individualized treatment plans to effectively restore mobility, strength, and function.
• Fabrication: Fabricate custom splints and adaptive devices as needed to support patient healing and functional independence.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Actively collaborate with referring physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care pathways and outcomes.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and home exercise programs to ensure long-term success.

Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and credentialed therapist ready to contribute immediately.

• Credential Required: Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential is mandatory.
• Licensure: Must be a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of Florida.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in hand or upper extremity rehabilitation is preferred.
• Key Skills: Demonstrated expertise in strong manual therapy , custom splinting techniques, and effective patient education.
