Title: Litigation Associate Attorney (Hybrid)

Location: New York, NY

Salary: $120,000 -160,000, Depending on Experience

We are seeking an organized, tech-proficient NYS-Admitted Attorney who is looking to focus on commerical litigation, contract matters, and real estate law. Candidates applying to this position should be excited to handle case management, discovery, trial preparation, settlement negotiations, motion practice, and proactive client and partner communication. There is a 1,850 billable hour requirement to be eligible for a bonus. Responsibilities

• Manage litigation files and handle related transactions across commercial and contract matters, real estate, and hospitality industries
• Conduct discovery, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations
• Draft and argue substantive motions and discovery motions
• Prepare and respond to discovery demands
• Conduct legal research on case law, CPLR tactics, and other relevant legal issues
• Represent clients in court, including arguing motions
• Handle pleadings, motion practice, depositions, and oral arguments
• Delegate tasks effectively to paralegals and manage a caseload independently

Required

• A JD degree and licensed in NYS courts
• 2+ years of litigation experience
• An ability to independently handle a caseload and work with clients directly
• Experience drafting and arguing motions
• Familiarity with pleadings, motion practice, discovery, depositions, and oral arguments

Bonus Experience

• Insurance defense
• Additional state licenses
• Working on real property legal issues in NYC, including construction law, RPAPL 881 license agreements, and condo/co-op matters
