Outpatient Surgery Center Operating Room Nurse Manager
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Nights, No Weekends
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operating Room Nurse Manager to lead clinical operations at our Outpatient Surgery Center in Indianapolis, IN . This position oversees both surgical services and perioperative areas, including Pre-op, Post-op, and PACU.

👥 Team Oversight
This Nurse Manager is responsible for daily operations and leadership of approximately 53 direct reports
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the OR and perioperative teams in a busy outpatient surgery center
- Ensure safe, efficient patient care and smooth daily workflow
- Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and performance management
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other clinical leaders
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety protocols
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and quality improvement initiatives
📋 Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited program
- Active Indiana or Compact RN license
- CNOR certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 4–6 years of perioperative/OR nursing experience required
- 6–8 years preferred , including direct supervisory experience in an OR setting
- Strong background as a circulating nurse in a surgical environment
