Job Description

Role: SAP HCM IDMC Engineer
Location: Remote


JOb Description:

Design and build end-to-end data migration pipelines between SAP HCM and target systems using Informatica IDMC/IICS .
Extract HR data from SAP ECC/S4 HCM, SuccessFactors, or hybrid HCM environments.
Develop mappings, workflows, and transformations to support data load, validation, and reconciliation.
Manage delta loads, full loads, error handling, and audit logging. 2. SAP HCM Expertise

• Understand and work with SAP HCM data structures:

  • PA/OM (Personnel Administration, Organizational Management)

  • Payroll, Time Management, Benefits, Compensation

  • Master Data (IT0000 IT0999)

• Collaborate with SAP functional and Basis teams to validate data requirements and extraction logic.

3. IDMC / IICS Technical Work

• Build and optimize CDI/CDI-ETL mappings, tasks, and taskflows.

• Use IDMC DQ for data profiling, cleansing, and data quality rules.

• Configure parameterization, reusable components, and secure connections.

• Work with Informatica Cloud APIs for automation and DevOps CICD pipelines.

4. Data Validation & Quality Assurance

• Perform data analysis, gap identification, data cleansing, and transformation logic validation.

• Execute migration tests, dress rehearsals, parallel runs, and cutover activities.

• Build reconciliation reports and troubleshoot data mapping inconsistencies.

5. Security & Compliance

• Ensure HR/PERSONAL data complies with security, GDPR, data privacy, audit, and organizational policies.

• Manage secure agent configuration, access roles, and data encryption within IDMC.

6. Documentation & Collaboration

• Prepare detailed design documents, mapping sheets, test scenarios, and validation reports.

• Support Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and DevOps deployment activities.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams-SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, Payroll, Integration, and BI.

Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills

• 4 8+ years of total experience with at least:

  • 3+ years in Informatica IDMC / IICS

  • 3+ years in SAP HCM data (PA/OM/Payroll/Time)

• Experience in SAP HR extraction using:

  • BAPIs/IDocs

  • SAP OData

  • SAP HANA views / CDS views

• Strong SQL scripting and debugging skills.

• Hands-on in:

  • Cloud Data Integration (CDI)

  • Data Quality (DQ)

  • Secure Agent configuration

  • API/REST integrations
