Course Description
This course teaches the theory and practical techniques of CPR and Choking in Infants, Children and Adults, including the use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), the use of barrier devices and pocket masks.
An additional hour can be added on to include essential basic first aid management of common medical and trauma emergencies
This course provides hands-on practice in the skills of CPR on Infant, Child and Adult mannequins.
The attendee will be required to pass a 15-question multiple choice test and successfully pass 3 practical skills tests, before receiving a certificate of competence in CPR, Choking and the AED.

This course is primarily intended for people who may be expected to provide CPR in the workplace, and is ideally suited for:

Certificate
The attendee will receive an accredited certificate of competence in CPR, Choking and the AED, which is valid for 2 years.
Attendees also earn 4 CPD points if they are registered with the HPCSA.

This course is accredited with the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa.
