Course Description
This course is perfect for primary as well as high school learners, teaching them vital lifesaving skills.
The course content is easily adapted according to the age group, and the duration of the course can also be adapted according to the learner’s availability (course can be run over 1 day, or split over 2 or 3 days). This can also be presented as a short workshop presentation.
This course is incredible for children and teenagers! They will learn how to handle an emergency at home or out in the community, including the theory and practical skills of CPR and Choking, as well as the basic management of common first aid emergencies.
The course provides hands – on practice in the skills of CPR, on infant, child and adult mannequins. Each attendee gets sufficient time to practice on each of the mannequins

Certificate
A Safe Kids certificate of attendance is issued. It is recommended that this certificate be renewed every 2 years.
Accreditation
The CPR is taught in accordance to the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa guidelines but because this is an attendance – only course, there is no accreditation. We do offer more comprehensive and accredited training, so please discuss your needs with us!
